THE GUY BEHIND THE LENS

Hey, I'm Robbie -- your Lehigh Valley photographer, storyteller, and friendly neighborhood hype man.

I'm a husband, a dad, a Licensed Massage Therapist, a lifelong superhero nerd, and the guy behind the camera of Robert Thomas Photo. I've been photographing families and love stories since 2019, and it's been the best ride.

As a kid I was always making something -- drawing comics and graffiti, writing songs and beats, or running around with a Polaroid and later, my camera phone. Photograohy was always my hobby... until my daughter came along.

Right before she was born, I felt this pull to document every single moment. I upgraded from my iPhone to my first Canon, and what started as dad-mode with a camera turned into a full-blown profession.

Since then I've had the honor of capturing everything from cake smashes and first steps, to quiet maternity moments, to couples kissing in the middle of an engagement session, to intimate elopements and micro-weddings across Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton.

I believe every family has a story worth telling. My job is to capture yours honestly -- the laughter, the nerves, the real connection -- so you have images that still hit 20 years from now.

When I'm not shooting, you'll find me hanging with my family, geeking out over DC and Marvel, or exploring the Lehigh Valley for new photo spots.
